About Scott
Scott T. Hansen has represented clients charged with criminal and traffic offenses throughout the Shenandoah Valley since joining Cook Attorneys in 2001. A 1999 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Mr. Hansen also served as a law instructor at James Madison University earlier in his career, and has argued before the Supreme Court of Virginia in Richmond.
Proficient in Spanish, Mr. Hansen regularly represents Spanish-speaking clients charged with criminal offenses and advises clients on immigration consequences of criminal charges.
As a complement to his criminal defense practice, Mr. Hansen enjoys assisting clients in successfully pursuing expungements and restoring lost firearm rights.
